About us
St Christopher’s was established in 1954 as a residential school for people with learning disabilities. Since that time the Organisation has evolved, we no longer operate a school but we do provide:
- Domiciliary Care
- Supported Living
- Residential Care
- Supported Holidays
- Educational and Employment opportunities.
St Christopher’s Trust is a Registered Charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee. It is directed by a Board of Trustees who meet on a monthly basis. The day to day management of the Organisation is delegated to the Director, Michael Hunt
We are now embarking some exciting new day time and employment opportunities which will include adventure activities, hotel and catering and horticulture. Together with the opportunity for people with a learning disability to enjoy a range of holidays, in the Derbyshire Peak District.
