Meet Susan
Susan joined the Trust in 1989 as a support worker. A key member of the Senior Management Team, she is the Responsible Individual nominated by the Trust and the Board. Susan is responsible for ensuring the Trust delivers high quality support and care throughout the Organisation and is qualified in NVQ2, NVQ3 and NVQ4 in Health & Social Care. In 2005 Sue was appointed Manager of St Christopher’s Trust Domiciliary Services, gaining registration in 2006. Susan attained her Registered Manager’s Award in 2007 and was promoted to Head of Care for the Trust in 2009.

Meet Emma
Emma joined the Trust in 2009 as a part-time Accountant. She is now part of the Senior Management Team and lead contact for our New Development. Emma deals with all the financial transactions of the Trust. Emma is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over ten years experience and has recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Charity Finance and Management with the Cass Business School at the City of London University. Emma is a member of the institute of Chartered accounts in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Michelle Fletcher’s portrait
Meet Michelle
Michelle joined St Christopher’s trust in 2007, since then she has gained a Human Resource Management graduate certificate and an MSc in Human Resource Management. Michelle is responsible for all aspects of HR and training and works closely with all the managers. The HR department is responsible for the attraction, selection, assessment and rewarding of employees while ensuring that employment law, good practice and equality is carried out at all times. Michelle is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Caroline Powell’s portrait
Meet Caroline
Caroline is a former support worker in both residential and domiciliary care, specialising in supporting people with severely challenging behaviour. During her time as a support worker with Stockport Social Services she qualified as an RMA. From 2008 to 2009 Caroline managed a residential home in Marple, joining St Christopher’s Trust in August 2009 as an Assistant Domiciliary Manager. In 2012 Caroline was promoted to her current role as Domiciliary Care Manager.

Meet Susan
Susan joined the Trust as an Administration Assistant in 2011, having previously worked for the Trust in another role. She carries out all aspects of reception duties including greeting visits with a smile, dealing with incoming calls and handling general queries. She’s also responsible for the management of internal meeting rooms, dealing with both incoming and outgoing mail and the processing of purchase orders. Her main duties are the handling of staff rotas and assisting the Personnel Manager with payroll.

Anthony Wilkinson’s portrait
Meet Anthony
Anthony joined the Trust as a Trustee in 2005 and was nominated for chairman in 2011. But Tony’s relationship with the Trust started in 1988 when his step-daughter moved into Residential care at Redcourt. Tony has held a variety of jobs over the years including a manager at a wood turning factory and running his own kitchen and bathroom company, he was then pub landlord for 20 years.

Meet Andrew
Andrew moved to Glossop with his family in the summer of 2012 to become the Vicar of Whitfield working with both St James’ and St Luke’s churches. Before he became a Vicar he was a primary school teacher and then worked in community regeneration on social housing estates in East London. Andrew joined the trust in October 2013. He’s enjoying getting to know the residents at St Christopher’s as well as the committed and hardworking staff and looks forward to supporting the charity and seeing it flourish.

Meet Christine
Christine has been a Trustee at St Christopher’s since 2009. Prior to that Christine worked as the Trust’s insurance broker. Christine has worked as an insurance broker for many years.

Meet Tina
Tina has been a Trustee for over 10 years, however her relationship with the Trust started in 1967 when her sister moved into Residential care at Redcourt.

Joan Roebuck’s portrait
Meet Joan
Joan joined the Trust in 1969, at the age of 17, as a teaching assistant. Following that she held different roles in the Trust progressing from a support worker to Deputy officer. Then after gaining her B-Tec National Certificate in Social Care and achieving her Registered Managers Award she became the Registered Residential Care Manager. She continued in that role until her retirement in 2010 and was then invited to become a trustee.
